Introduction
Long before Earth became a jewel of life and conflict, the seeds of galactic strife were sown in a star system known as Lyra. From this cradle of humanoid life emerged the ancestors of modern Earth humanity—tall, blue or green-eyed Lyrans with blonde or red hair, technologically advanced and spiritually diverse. Their age of peace ended abruptly when the Reptilian Empire from Thuban in Alpha Draconis—known as the Dracos—swept in with overwhelming force.

The Fall of Lyra
Roughly 4 billion years ago, Draco forces invaded Lyra, laying waste to planets and slaughtering millions. Their aim was not just conquest, but subjugation. The Lyrans, unprepared for such a ruthless enemy, fled in massive star-fleets to safe harbors across the galaxy—Pleiades, Orion, Tau Ceti, Procyon, and Sirius. Thus began the first great exodus of humanoid life into the stars.

Some of these Lyrans formed a defensive alliance: the Galactic Federation. Others, like the proud Atlans who settled in the Pleiades, remained independent, focused on restoring their lost civilization rather than fighting.

The Birth of the Greys
Among the fleeing groups, a faction of Lyrans landed on Apex, a planet near Vega. But Apex suffered a Draco orbital assault, forcing survivors underground. Radiation from surface bombardment altered their DNA, stunting their reproductive systems and pushing them toward technological evolution and cloning. These Apexians would become the race now called the Greys.

The Atlans and the Seeds of Division
The Atlans refused to bow to Draco or the Federation. Their goal was to rebuild what was lost. Though they shared ancestry with the Federation, they saw life in refugee enclaves beneath them. Their break from the larger galactic community planted seeds of future discord. Their story would intertwine with Earth’s fate more than once.

Claiming the Solaris System
Meanwhile, another star system—ours—drew the interest of both Lyrans and Dracos. Lyran refugees began settling planets like Mars and Maldek, while the Dracos set up shop on Venus and Earth. Each side claimed rights over the system. The Federation designated the Solaris System as Lyran territory, but the Dracos, who had arrived a million years earlier, asserted first settlement.

A Disputed Cradle
At the heart of this dispute lay Earth—a watery, fertile world that the Dracos terraformed for their food source: dinosaurs. They altered the planet’s flora to feed these massive creatures, unintentionally creating what would later become Earth’s coal and oil deposits.

Emerging Conflict
The Solaris System became a powder keg with both groups claiming Earth and its neighboring worlds. Lyran descendants on Maldek eyed Mars with suspicion, even as the Martians—another Lyran group—sought peace. The Dracos, ever strategic, watched and waited, preparing for their next strike.
