Howard Menger (February 17, 1922 – February 25, 2009) was an American contactee who claimed to have met extraterrestrials throughout the course of his life, meetings which were the subject of books he wrote, such as From Outer Space To You and The High Bridge Incident. Menger, who rose to prominence as a charismatic contactee detailing his chats with friendly Adamski-style Venusian “space brothers” in the late 1950s, was accepted by some UFO believers.
Later in his life Menger stated in several documentaries that he believed he had misunderstood the space aliens and where they came from. He stated the space aliens did not live on Venus but they had bases on Venus or were passing by or exploring the planet.[1][2] Menger also wrote about this newer position about where he believed the space people come from in one of his later books.
Menger states:
“‘Years ago, on a T.V. program, when I first voiced my opinion that the people I met and talked with from the craft might not be extraterrestrial, it was thought that I had recanted. However, they (the aliens) said they had just come from the planet we call Venus (or Mars). It is my opinion that these space travelers may have by-passed or visited other planets (as we are planning) but were not native to those planets any more than our astronauts are native to the moon.'” [3]
There are also some who claim the memories of Howard Menger, George Adamski, Buck Nelson and other contactees were manipulated by evil ET’s (known as the Omegans) in order to trick them into believing in life on Venus in order to discredit the message of the positive ET’s.[4]
Menger had religious revelations to impart after his “experiences,” and also came back from his contacts with practical messages.
When he was still young he moved with his parents to the rolling hills of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. His first alleged contact with a person from another planet was at the age of ten, in the woods near his hometown of High Bridge, New Jersey.[5]

Together with George Adamski, Daniel Fry and Truman Bethurum, Howard Menger was one of the most outstanding figures of the Contactee world in the Americas of the 1950s and 1960s. The book he wrote in the late 1950s ” From Outer Space to You “ released in France in 1965 by Editions Dervy under the title ” Mes Amis les Hommes de l’Espace “ , helped to publicize the UFO phenomenon and to arouse enthusiasm on the part of the public but also lively controversies. as to its authenticity.

Howard Menger was 8 years old in 1930 when his family decided to settle in the countryside of High Bridge located in New Jersey (USA). A region moreover which was to distinguish itself in the 60s by an incredible quantity of ufological and paranormal phenomena.

But back to young Howard and the beautiful places that surrounded their country house. An almost idyllic situation (a nod to Fred) to be able to carry out the fun activities that Howard and his comrades dreamed of. When he evokes in his book this sweet period of his life, the readers imagine very well the pleasure and the ecstasy that he must have felt through his tribulations in the fields, the woods and the rivers of this bucolic setting.

It is indeed Rose C whose endearing side of her personality Fred Idylle and I had already underlined, all of simplicity, freshness and spontaneity. So many qualities which also made the charm of Howard Menger. Like Edgar Cayce, Rose C. and Howard Menger shared the same love and fascination for nature and for which they felt the same sense of harmony and communion. Does this have to automatically translate into more developed psychic faculties than normal? Maybe not for everyone, but I hardly doubt it when it comes to Edgar, Rose and Howard.
The first contacts
Howard Menger began very early, in the company of his younger brother, to see ” discs “ flying in the sky, and this on several occasions, until the day when one of these objects landed in the meadow where they were to have fun. Another object of the same kind but larger hovered above the previous one as if to observe them. Finally, as the two intrigued children approached, the two ships sped away with terrifying speed in a flash of light.
The young Howard Menger continued his escapades in nature, marveling at the beauty of the forest. And then at the age of 10, he met a woman sitting on a rock at the edge of a stream. To sum up Menger’s description, she was a young woman of unspeakable beauty, comparable to that of an angel. She revealed to him with great tenderness that she had known him for a very long time and that he had a mission on earth.
He remembered a few words like frequency, vibration, development or universal laws, but then could not understand what she meant. She told him about the great changes that were going to occur in the world as well as the devastating wars, linked to the incomprehension of the peoples. Before leaving, she assured him that other Beings from elsewhere would come to visit her later. In particular a certain Marla, who was none other than the sister of this strange young woman on the rock.
From 1942, Howard Menger was incorporated into the Army and indeed made new extraordinary encounters. While he was in Texas, he found himself on leave in front of a tanned man, with long blond tresses, who invited him to get into the taxi to discuss. But he refused, wanting to join his comrades to return to the camp. Shortly after, Howard, while on a military base, was stopped by what appeared to be another soldier given his khaki uniform and regulation military haircut. After a brief telepathic message emitted by the latter, Howard suddenly remembered the words of the young blonde woman at the edge of the stream on the new meetings he would have had to make.
He told her that many Mexicans had been in contact with Extra-Terrestrial Visitors and that his own people had helped the Aztecs long before the arrival of the Conquistadors. The latter possessed golden discs which turned out to be in fact sonic instruments used for levitations. They had to be tuned to the wavelength of the people using them.

But these marvelous instruments were destroyed at the time of the invasion of warlike peoples. The Man in Uniform also confided to him that the individual in the taxi did not in fact come from the same planet as him and that his mission was above all to come into contact with descendants of an ancient race of his own. planet that came to Earth probably a very long time ago.
After revealing to him that he was not the only one contacted, he announced to Howard that the next meeting would take place in Hawaii. And indeed, the prediction turned out to be correct. Thus, not only these Beings, who blended among the population without the slightest problem, were telepathic but seemed to know the past, the present as well as the future.
After new military adventures, encounters with other Space Beings, mainly Venusians or Martians, continued with renewed vigor, bringing their new batch of spiritual revelations and predictions such as the atomic explosion of Hiroshima.
Back to basics
Back in the USA, at the end of the conflict, Howard went to settle with his wife and child in New Jersey with the ambition of creating his painting business. One fine day, seized with nostalgia, he returned to the magical wood of his childhood, where he had his first striking encounter with the young woman on the rock. While Howard was probably lost in thought, a still disc-shaped ship that seemed to appear out of nowhere appeared to land in the clearing. And as if by magic, the young woman was there, this time in the company of two other companions also of the Nordic type.
To his amazement, despite the 14 years that had passed since that memorable day, the one he had compared to an angel or a fairy, hadn’t changed at all and still looked 25 years old. With a little teasing air, she confided to him that she was Venusian and over 500 years old ! And to add that in ancient times, some men lived hundreds of years on this planet, when the atmosphere was similar to that of Venus. It was not just the atmosphere of Venus, she hastened to say, but the way her people lived, the way they thought and fed themselves that was the cause of such longevity. !
“ When we live according to the laws of our Creator, we are blessed with the gift of longevity. But that is not the most important. It is only one of the least of our happinesses ” .
Howard was confirmed that his education would continue through further encounters and that, in turn, he would be tasked with spreading ” the Laws of Universal Wisdom “ in order to save the human race from itself. But she advised him with a certain solemnity to wait until the summer of 1957.
The turning point of the year 1956
From 1956, Howard Menger obtained permission to take pictures of the ships and show them to his relatives, knowing that the impact would be limited because of their poor quality caused by the radiation of the ships. 1956 was also the year of the first trips inside the vessels where the technologies used obviously had no comparison with ours. The story of the ” moon potatoes “ is also worth mentioning: Howard was given potatoes that had grown on the moon. After analysis, it was found that the protein level was abnormally higher than usual. Learning the different languages of our planet presented no problem thanks to what these Beings called a ” linguistic transformer converter” . The second interesting source comes from a book written by Guy Tarade and entitled ” Flying Saucers and Outer Space Civilizations “ ( Ed J’ai Lu-1969 ) Pages 138 to 140:
“More than forty years ago, in August 1924 , the planet Mars was approaching the Earth. The American Navy wanted to take advantage of what it was about to pass 60 million km from the Earth “only” to pick up signals if Mars could emit signals. But in case the experiment failed, the Navy observers had insisted on remaining in the shadows. They financed the operation, provided the equipment and the manpower. technical work was needed, but someone else had to take official responsibility for the enterprise, Dr. David Todd was that person in charge.
The government ordered all radio transmitters in the United States to remain silent for the duration of the experiment. Inside a Jenkins radio-camera, a strip of sensitive paper passed in front of oscillating points of light. Each received radio signal was converted into a light ray which was recorded on the “film” . The recording equipment was about 9 meters long and 0.15 m wide. Other countries cooperated in the experiment. On August 28, 1924 , the press announced:”The film showed, black on white, on the one hand a continuous alignment of signals, on the other hand at regularly spaced intervals, signals presenting in groups and curiously confused shapes resembling cruelly emaciated human faces… ” The scholars who examined this astonishing document were bewildered by the strange turn of events. The inventor of the radio-camera, Jenkins understood absolutely nothing of these bizarre signals and the caricatures of the apocalypse which had come to register on the sensitive tape. They classified the cursed film and completely forgot about it. »
You’ll agree that these stories bear startling similarities to the technology shown to Howard Menger.
Attempts to build a free energy motor
Subsequently, and very probably under the telepathic direction of his friends, Howard began to develop himself prototypes of free-energy motors whose principle was apparently based on the use of certain magnetic forces. One would have thought that technological prowess had to correspond to the spiritual advancement of these Extra-Terrestrial Visitors. Alas, Howard Menger had to realize that this was not the case. According to the statements of his friends, some of these Beings were animated by particularly malevolent intentions.
“There is a very powerful group of people on this planet who are extremely knowledgeable in technology, in psychology, and, worst of all, in tele-influence. They run people who hold important positions in government. This group is Anti-God, and one could say that it is the instrument of your mythical Demon. (…) They handle not only people from this planet but also people from Mars. And also…other people from your own planet, people you’ve never heard of. People who until now have neither been observed nor discovered. A kind of underground people . This group has infiltrated religious organizations to fool your people with a false conception of truth.which had already circumvented your planet thousands of years ago. They use the gullibility and faith of a mass of people to achieve their own ends.”
Howard understood then that he himself would not escape the attacks of the Conspiracy and its inconveniences.
interplanetary travel
During a trip to the Moon, Howard noticed the presence of spacecraft posed near the craters as well as the presence of dome-shaped constructions. He took a few pictures of the moon, one of which, this one below, showed part of a porthole (in the upper left corner)

Let us here open a very important parenthesis in this affair: It is indeed to be noted about this truly astonishing photo of the Moon with the porthole edge in the upper left corner that it is supposed to have been taken during the month of August 1956 .
However, as my friend Fred Idylle wisely pointed out to me, the first foray into space dates back to October 4, 1957 with the launch of the Soviet satellite Sputnik I. The Americans, wanting to take their revenge by touching the Moon before the Soviets, launched a series of probes towards the latter.
Fred also tells us that, in the little pocket book entitled ” la Saga de L’espace ” published by Gallimard in October 86, we discover the following valuable information:”
- The first two attempts, in August and September 1958, were failures.
2) The third, on November 8, 1958, sees Pioneer 1 rise to an altitude of 113,000 km (still far from the 384,000 km average which separates us from our satellite) ;
3) the next, on December 6, 1958 leads to a performance less good: 102,000 km of altitude for Pioneer 3
finally success was achieved on March 3, 1959, with Pioneer-4 which passed 60,000 km from the Moon.
But the Soviets have done much better in the meantime:
On January 2, 1959, they launched their Luna-1 probe (then nicknamed Lunik) which passed ten times closer to the Moon (at only 6500 km), although it is much heavier: 361 kg, against 5.9 kg only for Pioneer 4…
Moreover, the exploit of Luna-1 is only a prelude.
On September 12, 1959 , Luna-2 took its own route to the Moon, where it crashed two days later in the Sea of Serenity. For the first time, a man-made object has reached another celestial body.
The performance of Luna-3 launched on October 4, 1959 is even more remarkable: passing behind the Moon, it obtains the first photographs of the mysterious far side.
The chronological details below are eloquent enough for us to imagine that, even if the strange photo of H. Menger would have been obtained just at the time of the publication of the book in English, that is to say 1959 (The month of publication is therefore very important, with respect to the only Luna-2 , which could have filmed the lunar ground before to crash into it. But further research has shown that Luna 2 had no camera on board , which immediately solves the problem).
On the one hand, it does not seem that the cited space probes had sufficient resolving power to capture the minute details of the Moon appearing in the photo above, and on the other hand can we also think that n any person could at the time have a photo, representing the lunar ground, of such quality, never seen elsewhere, that NASA or the Soviets would have given him? It’s up to the specialists to answer… If no clarification could be given to us on this subject, then this single photo would constitute, in itself, a serious element, to say the least, of the veracity of Howard Menger’s remarks.
This trip offered Howard Menger the opportunity to meet a Being even more impressive than the previous ones, by his physical and intellectual radiance, as if appearance went hand in hand with spiritual maturity. The latter told Howard of a number of revelations that were to upset him forever. Some of them, extraordinary in their acuteness in terms of knowledge and wisdom, will be taken up in the second part devoted to the revelations (between pages 204 and 210 to find the revelations of this “Master” ) .
On September 1, 1956, the Spacemen took Howard to the planet Venus which, strangely, looked more like Paradise than the infernal description generally advanced by scientists (+ 400 ° C., clouds of sulfuric acid, etc…). Through a window of the ship he saw magnificent domed buildings amidst forests and vast expanses of water. The vehicles traveled without wheels and floated above the ground.
The next trip again concerned the Moon but this time involved, and contrary to the previous ones often limited to a few hours at the most, a duration of 10 days, the time, it was explained to him, to subject the body to a change . of polarity and vibrational frequency .

Another curiosity, the Moon seemed to have some clouds and therefore an atmosphere! Could it be that the explanation of such a perception is in fact in the constitution of the glass of the porthole, making modify the appearances? Or were Howard’s visual perceptions altered by the change in vibrational frequency? Finally, there is one last solution: the simple one of disinformation from NASA astronomers who refuse to give us the exact reality of the lunar body. I personally lean towards the second hypothesis, knowing that I may be far from the truth.
Once placed on the lunar ground comparable to the terrestrial desert, Howard Menger was astonished while looking at the sky to see there a yellowish color . And he was not yet at the end of his surprises! Indeed, he found that, depending on the location, he could breathe the air without difficulty or almost.. This statement made many ufologists skeptical to the point that some, among the most fervent supporters of Menger, rather considered the hypothesis of the visit of another planet or even another satellite within the solar system or even elsewhere. However, in the light of the most recent scientific reports, we would now agree to admit the presence of a lunar atmosphere. Like what, what still seemed completely absurd and incongruous thirty years ago, may no longer be so today.

Howard already knew in the ship that he was not the only Terran guest. He joined a group of people among others and began the visit of a kind of interplanetary exhibition where each Extra-Terrestrial Civilization had brought its artistic and technological contribution. One of them showed, for example, the cleaning of clothes using a machine using high-frequency waves.
The stay seemed to pass very quickly for Howard Menger but there is however one point that he does not specify: did the 15 days of the trip correspond to 15 days on earth? More than once indeed, he had the impression that time in the company of his space friends did not pass in the same way as on Earth. A physiological detail somehow put a flea in his ear: he was surprised that his beard hadn’t grown a hair throughout the trip. Telepathy

The work on Venus
There is no work as we know it. They have complex mechanisms and devices that do the job quickly and efficiently. All other works are voluntary and done with love. All products are shared.

Diet

Science

Free Energy
Our friends in space do not understand why we manufacture such complicated machines, which work in a way that we say is simple, but which is not. The vibrational frequency
The vibrational frequency of a planet generates the magnetic lines of force which surround each physical planetary body and all that is constructed of the same matter. For example, on Venus and on Saturn, the vibrational frequency is much higher and the physical structures are more subtle; and if a man of the Earth in his physical body could go there, it is probable that he could not see some of the life forms which vibrate faster than his own, any more than he can see the forms of spiritual life that exist on and in one’s own planet.
The frequency of vibrations of a planet affects the mental development of its population.
Raising the level of consciousness
Our visitors try to raise the level of consciousness of the population by various methods such as:
a) the dissemination of information about flying saucers;
b) stories of encounters with their own;
c) their signs in heaven;
d) mechanically with devices that influence our mind through sounds, colors, waves. It can be a loud sound, a song, a special piece of music. Special music pushes certain buttons in the mind and awakens something that was there.
However, because of the way we eat, think and act on this three-dimensional planet, these faculties remain in a latent state, sometimes for several lifetimes. Nevertheless, the divine laws are there, and those who must have these higher faculties will have them when their cycle of expression allows it.
The population of our planet will be able to become integrated into the interplanetary brotherhood when it is less unfriendly, and when its members show more tolerance, love and good will towards one another.
Conclusion
In spite of the interrogations of certain ufologists of which we will speak again, I do not think that it is necessary to question the sincerity of Howard Menger. The quality of the statements made and the photos speak for themselves.
The translator JP Crouzet remarked in his introduction that he expressed some doubts as to the true origin of these “Men of Space”, without denying the reality of the contact. He did not believe in fact that the other planets of the solar system are inhabited by beings practically identical to our morphology. In a message recently sent to a user, Howard Menger did not doubt for a moment the material reality of his contacts but wondered, however, if he had not been duped somewhere. Indeed, he acknowledged his embarrassment over the seemingly impossible living conditions on other planets in the solar system. This may seem surprising on his part because did he not say in his first book that a change in the vibrational frequency of the ship with its occupants had taken place in order to approach Venus or the Moon? The question remains, but if, in the more or less near future,
Skeptics will easily point out the ambiguous declarations of Howard Menger on his collaboration with the Pentagon and especially his revelation of an operation to intoxicate the saucer milieu. But that is not the main thing. It could very well be that this ” confession “ was inspired by these same services in a more or less forced way to curb the public’s enthusiasm for the UFO phenomenon. Perhaps it even corresponded to a wish of Howard Menger to let go of ballast in order to preserve his family life.
Should we now consider the experience of Howard Menger as a diversion to conceal other less glorious plans and designs for our Humanity? Following a message from a friendly Internet user, asking me my feelings on the plausibility of extraterrestrial life on Venus, Mars or Saturn, I sent her the following response:

a) To use the expression of Jacques Vallée, Howard Menger would have been the target of a “Magonian” manipulation on the part of ethereal entities for purposes that are not very clear. Personally, I do not claim that such entities totally detached from physicality do not exist, but I do not believe that Howard Menger’s experience falls within this explanation.
b) Howard Menger would have been contacted by very physical Extra-Terrestrials but the latter would have concealed their true origin from him. c) The Friends of Howard Menger would indeed come from the planets mentioned above, except that they would come from a vibrational frequency different from that of the Earth. 2) Links between Phylos (“I’ve lived on two planets”) and Howard Menger (August 28, 2002) .
Shortly after this article was put online, my friend Fred Idylle reminded me fondly of the excellent book “I lived on two planets” (from Phylos at Editions Robert Laffont) which contained a passage on the vibratory frequency, an element which seems preponderant to explain the stories of Howard Menger.
A few words first to introduce this book, which was incredibly ahead of its time, since it was written in 1886 and published in 1899 in the United States, and whose themes covered on Atlantis, reincarnation, the relationship between man and his environment, astral travel, life on other planets, the Beyond, etc… would practically all be found in the major works of esotericism of the following century. The mysterious Phylos recounts the story of his various incarnations in Atlantis until the 19th century, as well as his peregrinations in the Beyond and on the planet Venus.
Fred Idylle is quite right to highlight the number of points in common between this book and that of Howard Menger. I am thinking in particular of the description of these famous Venusians, reincarnation, vegetarianism and the existence on Earth of ancient civilizations extremely advanced from the technological point of view.
But let’s now move on to the passage on the vibrational frequency: First Part: Chapter IV “AXTE INCAL, AXTUCE MUN” Pages 52 to 54:

Attentive readers will have noticed that these last sentences on the relationship between light and sound refer directly to the revelations of Father Ernesti Pellegrino and his incredible machine for visualizing the past. Another point in common between the works of Phylos and Howard Menger concerns respect for animal life and the adoption of a vegetarian (or even vegan) diet. Note that for both cases, these revelations came from Venusians endowed with telepathic gifts and a harmonious physique certainly in relation to their spirituality.Second Part: Chapter V “Human life on Venus” . Page 311:
(…) Looking at these two beings (NDA: Venusians) and remembering the appearance of Mol Lang, I thought: “How splendid the physique of these people is! How graceful and accomplished each line, as if the body was molded on the soul and perfect in all its points of contact with it!“Yes, you’re right,” Sohma said.

3) Sensational Pravda article (October 5, 2002): Cities on the Moon! We were not prepared for such an eventuality. In one of the images, the internal structure of the “Castle” appears porous, so that some of its parts seem transparent.

At 89.7 Khz on the Frequency Modulation, you have for example France-Culture and if you move the frequency slightly, you get a new station like Europe 1. According to the words of Howard Menger, Connie happens to be the reincarnation of Marla who would have been Venusian before going down an octave, to use a musical image. Howard Menger himself considered himself the reincarnation of a Saturnian being. As for the respect of universal laws, nothing indicates that the evolution of the soul takes place in a single direction.
Many authors such as Daniel Meurois, Anne Givaudan or Laura Knight-Jadczyk have mentioned in their books the possible vibrational regression for a very specific purpose. As for the presence of Connie/Marla, naturally assuming that this revelation is genuine, we probably don’t know everything about the pre-established plans at the level of the soul.

And Man would find himself in the middle of this cosmic opposition, subject to the influences of each other. For now, the least that can be said of all the horrors that may have been committed on this Earth is that the SDS have had a hold on us for quite a while.
Another point to remember is the great resemblance between the photos of the Venusian ships taken by Howard and those taken by George Adamski. They are the same, no doubt. Moreover, there are other similar photos taken by other witnesses in the world. If these are tricks, it would be surprising if all these people used …. the same ones. It seems unlikely to me.
