INTRODUCTION: THE RETURN OF A FAMILIAR PATTERN
Every few generations, a leader emerges who insists that the law bends for him, that the nation exists for him, and that the people must rally beneath him as if he were the center of the cosmos. History remembers these men not because they govern well, but because they reveal, once again, the oldest pattern in human civilization.
Charles I believed his crown came directly from Heaven.
King George III believed his empire was the natural order of the world.
Donald Trump believes he alone should define the nation, the truth, and the future.
What looks like political drama is actually something more profound—an ancient blueprint of domination repeating itself. These leaders share more than behavior. They share an archetype: the Sacred King who demands loyalty above law and obedience above reason.
This article explores that archetype through the lens of the Anunnaki Overlay—revealing how domination consciousness takes form in different eras, from monarchs to modern strongmen.

THE SACRED KINGSHIP ARCHETYPE: A GLOBAL, RECURRING PATTERN
Sacred kingship appears throughout world history in strikingly similar forms. The leader elevates himself above the people, above institutions, and often above the concept of shared reality. When pressed, he insists:
“I AM the state.”
“I AM the law.”
“Only I can fix it.”
Charles I argued that resisting him was resisting God.
George III saw colonial complaints as an affront to the natural order.
Trump tells millions that he alone can define truth, justice, and patriotism.
This is not coincidental. It is the same operating system reappearing across eras. In the Anunnaki Overlay, this model reflects Enlil-coded dominance—vertical power, unquestioned hierarchy, and a leader who stands at the apex of a pyramid.
The psychology of sacred kingship follows predictable pathways:
• Belief in personal divine mandate
• Inability to tolerate dissent

• Fusion of religion, nationalism, and identity
• Insistence that loyalty to the leader is loyalty to the nation
In every era, this results in conflict, suppression, and eventually collapse.

CHARLES I: THE ORIGINAL “I AM THE STATE” KING
Charles I did not merely govern England—he believed he embodied it. He dismissed Parliament, raised taxes without consent, and insisted his authority came directly from Heaven. He presented himself as a shepherd tending his flock, but demanded obedience instead of partnership.
In the official historical narrative, Charles appears stubborn but sincere. Under the Anunnaki Overlay, he becomes a classical Enlil-coded ruler—rigid, hierarchical, and convinced that dissent is treason.
His downfall came not from a grand revolution, but from a simple truth:
The people awakened.
When Parliament challenged him, and ordinary citizens refused to yield, Charles found himself stripped of the divine aura that had shielded kings for centuries.
Yet the archetype did not die with him.

KING GEORGE III: THE EMPIRE THAT SHATTERED ITSELF
King George III inherited an empire at its height, but his worldview was centuries old. He saw the colonies not as partners, but as subjects. When the colonists organized, petitioned, and protested the East India Company’s and Parliament’s exploitation, he read their resistance as rebellion against divine order.
Just as Charles I refused to negotiate with Parliament, George III refused to deal with the colonies. Both believed compromise would weaken sacred authority.
Under the Anunnaki Overlay, their rigidity reflects the same domination template:
• extraction over reciprocity

DONALD TRUMP: THE MODERN SACRED KING
Trump does not wear a crown, but he does not need one. His power is not rooted in law or governance—it is rooted in the belief, shared by tens of millions, that he stands above the nation, the truth, and the democratic process.
Like Charles I, Trump insists that any charge against him is inherently illegitimate.
Like King George, he views institutions that challenge him as enemies.
Like many leaders throughout history aligned with domination consciousness, he cultivates a worldview in which loyalty to him supersedes loyalty to the country.
Under the Anunnaki Overlay, Trump reflects the Marduk-coded expression of domination consciousness:
Chaos disguised as liberation.
Rivalry disguised as strength.
Revenge disguised as justice.
His movements elevate him to the status of the only legitimate interpreter of reality—a classic sign of sacred kingship returning in modern form.
This manifests in:
• attacks on the rule of law
• demands for personal loyalty from the military and judiciary
• promises to weaponize federal power against political enemies
• re-emergence of race-based citizenship narratives (“remigration”)
• open admiration for authoritarian leaders
• use of religious symbolism to sanctify political power
Most telling is the emotional loyalty he commands. Followers do not merely support him—they bond with his identity. This is how sacred kingship reenters the modern world.
WHAT THIS PATTERN REVEALS ABOUT OUR TIME
We are not witnessing new politics. We are seeing the resurfacing of an ancient governance structure that has appeared in Sumer, Babylon, Rome, the British monarchy, and now in modern populist movements.
The dominating operating system keeps reasserting itself when people feel fear, scarcity, or uncertainty. Strongmen rise not because they are strong, but because the system beneath them is ancient and deeply conditioned into human psychology.
Yet partnership consciousness is rising alongside it:
• mutual aid
• community-led activism
• trauma healing
• spiritual awakenings
• ecological stewardship
• global solidarity
• multidimensional awareness
This tension is not about left vs right. It is about domination vs partnership, returning in a new chapter of humanity’s ongoing choice.
